Role details:

Previous experience managing an accounting team, intimate knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and implementation of internal controls, policies and procedures is also a necessity. Knowledge of Accpac would be a bonus.

Deliverables will include managing the full financial function for Quirk Cape Town, including:
? Preparing monthly income and balance sheet statements for Exco meetings
? Preparing all monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
? Managing cash flow and submitting VAT returns, EMP forms and all Government compliance
? Working with our Operations Manager to manage monthly revenue forecasting and efficiency
? Managing our BBBEE processes alongside our HR team
? Providing financial insights at monthly Exco meetings
? Improving and implementing internal financial controls
? Providing financial support to our MD and other senior managers

To make a success of it, you'd need a professional qualification (CA (SA), ACCA or CIMA) with at least 2 years experience in a similiar role.
