Angela Henry is a Businesses Information Security Officer at Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) responsible for implementing the Information Security strategy to ensure a secure environment which enables business to achieve their objectives. Her role includes cross discipline collaboration and involvement between business functions, asset management, procurement, physical security, IT risk, Ops Risk, infrastructure and information security. Angela has over fifteen years of experience in Information Security, Identity and Access Management, Data Protection and IT Risk. Angela has successfully initiated and implemented major Information Security projects and processes including a Data Loss Prevention Strategy, User Access Attestation process, Privileged Access Management and the CSIRT and Incident Response Process. Angela’s certifications include CISMP, CISA, CISS, CISM, CGEIT, C/CISO and others.

The talk will focus on the fact that a cybersecurity incident is not only an Information Security issue, it is an organisational-wide issue that requires the involvement of various business functions across the organisation to effectively deal with a cybersecurity incident. The talk will also include tips on developing and adopting a practical process that is applicable to your organisation, and lessons learnt from running simulation exercises.
