Phindile Bukhali matriculated in 2008. During 2009 she completed an ARMS Leadership Program as a Personal Brand Leader. In 2009 she was an active member of the South African Students’ Congress (SASCO). Phindile earned qualifications as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in 2011. In 2012 she completed her degree in Bachelor of Business Administration, in which she majored in Marketing and Human Resources Management. In 2012 she started her internship with EOH. Phindile was permanently employed by EOH in 2013.

Brian Gubbins, business development director, EOH

Irish by birth, Brian came to South Africa in the early 1990's with DeBeers who had sponsored his studies in the UK. Brian implemented enterprise systems for DeBeers for a number of years before joining Price Waterhouse Management Consultancy in Johannesburg in 1994.

He moved back to Europe in 1997, where he became a Partner with Price water house coopers Management Consultancy London in 1999. Brian moved back to South Africa in 2003 and opened his own consulting company, Tuesday Consulting where he stayed until joining EOH in 2006.

At EOH Brian is responsible for Business Development which incorporates a broad range of Sales, Marketing and other Group initiatives.

Themba Maseko, risk manager/futures analyst, ABSA Capital
Born in a community called Driefontein on the border of Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal, Themba Maseko completed his matric in 2000 and moved to Johannesburg to study at CIDA City Campus, where he completed his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. He went on to study further and completed a post-graduate diploma at Milpark Business School. While at CIDA, he founded an organisation called Bahlalifi Baburwa, which helped students to breach the gap between the South African corporate and university students, and also encourage entrepreneurship.

He was one of the students who hosted the most influential CIDA donors when visiting CIDA City Campus. Some of the people he co-hosted are Oprah Winfrey, Sir Richard Branson, The Dalai Lama, and Lord Mayor of the City of London, Michael Oliver. He was selected as a Brightest Young Mind in 2005. He joined Hollard Insurance in 2006 as a graduate, where he went on to become a portfolio manager in the Hollard Corporate Market. He was responsible for one of the big international accounts where he won the highest recognition for an excellent service in running his portfolio, from Chubb Reinsurance in the USA, for three years in a row. He then moved to Absa Capital in 2011 to become a risk manager/futures analyst, where he is currently employed. He is also a founder of a company called Maseko Brothers, which caters for corporate and private transportation.

Oupa Mopaki, chief executive officer, MICT SETA
Oupa Mopaki was the Gauteng Provincial Chairman of Communications Workers Union from 1992 and a national negotiator and union representative in a number of company forums. He was also involved in addressing a number of disputes in the said companies before taking up a position Senior Manager – Human Resources at Telkom in 1997. In 2000 he joined the Mining Qualifications Authority as a Senior Manager for Skills Development and in 2003 he was appointed to a position of Chief Executive Officer of the Information Systems Electronics and Telecommunications Technology (ISETT) Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA); the position he currently holds.

Oupa has decided, as an accredited practitioner in commercial mediation, to focus on alternative dispute resolution in view of his experience at a senior level in various organisations.

Oupa’s experience in labour law, organisational design, business process re-engineering and management, has given him valuable insights into the various commercial issues and practical problems which businesses have to deal with everyday.

Eddie Msibi, investment banker, Investec
Eddie Msibi was born in Nelspruit, South Africa and moved to the West Rand, Randfontein, for primary school. He completed high school at Town View High, and in 2001, enrolled for a Bachelor of Business Administration with CIDA City Campus, where he majored in international finance. Msibi worked for FNB between 2005 and 2006 on a graduate programme, before joining Investec in 2007. He has been with Investec bank since 2007, currently working as a private banker. Passionate about life, Msibi is extremely motivated and cares about peoples’ well-being. Msibi is an entrepreneur by nature and believes it is just a matter of time before he sets up his own successful business.

Leslie Sedibe, chief executive officer, Proudly South African

Leslie Sedibe is an admitted advocate of the High Court of South Africa. He holds a BA, LLB, LLM (Tax) from Wits University. Prior to joining Proudly South African as CEO, Adv Sedibe served as Head of Legal for the 2010 FIFA World Cup organising committee: South Africa. He later became the CEO of the South African Football Association during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Adv Sedibe has also served on Boards of various companies including EMI, the SABC, SAFA and the 2010 FIFA World Cup LOC. He also served on the Film and Publication Board as the Deputy Chairperson and Chaired the Board of the Recording Industry of South Africa and the South African Music Awards. During his tenure at the World Cup, Adv Sedibe also served as chairperson of the National Rights Protection Program.

Kedibone Sehume, Corporate Job Creation, public relations and marketing manager, EOH

Kedibone Sehume has seven years to date, extensive experience in the Information Communication and Technology Industry, focusing on Private and Public Sector. She has worked in the reseller and vendor ICT environment, as a Marketing Assistant, Marketing and Communications Consultant, Marketing & PR Project Manager, Corporate Public Relations Manager, EOH Youth Job Creation PR & Marketing Manager and Sales Incentive Manager.

Kedibone Sehume previously worked for a Company called Lefatshe Technologies as the Marketing and Communications Consultant. Heading up this division on her own, she was involved with event and communication projects with the likes of the ANCYL, State Information and Technology Agency (SITA), Institute of Local Government Management (ILGM), South African Local Government Association (SALGA) to name a few. She has also over the years had the opportunity to work with EMC Storage, Blackberry, 3Com etc. on various Marketing Campaigns.

Kedibone, was the Project Lead for Events & Hospitality Management for marchFIRST beginning of September 2009 to January 2011. During her contract employment she was involved with The October Transport Month Awareness Campaign with The Department of Transport, which included The Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project (GFIP) Communication Campaign. She was responsible for the overall execution of the communications project team.

In April 2011, Kedibone took a permanent role as Marketing Manager for EOH Corporate, managing their corporate annual events such as the EOH Spring Ball, EOH JHB and CPT Golf Day, etc.

In May 2012, Kedibone was offered a position to run a company initiative which included executing the CEO’s vision of addressing youth unemployment in South Africa. This position also entails the management of the Corporate Public Relations portfolio, Sales Incentive Management as well as Industry PR and Marketing Consultation within the operational structure of EOH.
