Mark joined Juniper Networks in June 2012 as Juniper Africa’s general manager. Based in Johannesburg, he is responsible for the development and expansion of Juniper’s business across Africa. He is a highly experienced ICT professional who has spent the last 27 years focussed on developing the African ICT market. Most recently, Mark spent 18 months working for NIL Data Communications as a senior consultant focused on developing and selling managed and hosted cloud-based services into the Sub-Saharan Africa market. Prior to joining NIL, Mark spent 15 years working for Cisco Systems where he held a number of positions, including regional sales manager, director and general manager. In 2007 he led the start up of a new services company for Cisco in South Africa called Cisco Technology Services, focussed on developing support services, delivery services and maintenance to a number of large service providers and enterprise customers across Africa.

Shaun joined Juniper Networks in 2007. He has been with the company throughout its evolution from being a leader in routing and security, to a full end-to-end solution provider and market leader in both service provider and enterprise class networks. During this evolution Shaun has gained immense experience in consulting to multiple customers across Europe, where he spent 15 years, and in Africa on its data centre and associated security practises. Juniper Networks is at the forefront of innovative technology that addresses the needs of today’s high-performance networks.
