About the survey
There is the perception that SA is still lagging behind when it comes to embracing open source software.
As a result, Linux Warehouse in partnership with ITWeb conducted a survey to find out:
| 1) | If organisations are using vendor supported open source software. |
| 2) | What organisations would consider using vendor supported open source software for. |
| 3) | What would prevent organisations from using vendor supported open source software. |
The 2012 Open Source Survey was run online on ITWeb for a period of two weeks, from 10 September to 24 September.
