My background includes sales and account management for over 30 years in the ICT sector. My experience working with both startups/scale-ups as well as Fortune 500 companies cross-industry helps me work with clients at a strategic level to achieve superior business outcomes. As Regional Sales Leader for Vertica, I advise clients on the right tools to extract maximum value of their data. Vertica is an analytics platform designed for high-performance analytics and powers the world’s most data-driven companies.

Graduated from University of Ghent (Belgium) in 1983 as a civil engineer electronics, also holding an MBA degree in Business Administration and APICS Certified.

Worked for companies like IBM and HP in different sales roles, as a strategic accounts manager, as well as country manager for UK based software company.

Living in Leuven (near Brussels) and married. Hobbies include luxury travels, gastronomic dinners, and studying languages.
